Scrapers

Drum scrapers and in-feed/out-feed product side scrapers

We offer solid belt surface scrapers to increase your belt life and hygiene, with low-cost set up. Our assemblies are maintenance-free and allow for hassle-free scraper knife changes.

Mounted to the out-feed oven legs, a pneumatic piston continuously applies pressure to the scraper mount shaft, without requiring any adjustments once set up.

Our system is manufactured from a stainless steel shaft and scraper blade mount, affixed to the machine frame via two end bearings to allow the brass blade to move freely. The on/off (extend and retract) control is performed via a pneumatic piston (dependent upon forces required), through a pneumatic control switch incorporating a filter regulator and flow control to regulate the blade pressure. The angle of the blade to the belt is critical to ensure the system is efficient.

The amount of force applied can be adjusted by proportionately adjusting the pressure via the filter regulator. We can offer a range of pistons to allow as little as 80N of force at 1 bar, to 1100N at 6 bar, to suit the application.

This system can be manually controlled or integrated into a PLC with an HMI panel. The assembly scrapes the residue and debris from the product side of the oven band and works effectively when installed at the out feed.

Our pneumatic designs are controlled by a localised panel that can be fitted either with a manual switch or a solenoid-piloted switch, to change the orientation of the scraper for ease of cleaning and replacing the brass scraper knife. A dedicated 3/2 shut-off valve, filter-regulator and flow control are housed in a IP67 rated housing.
