Chemicals industry

Steel belts for for pastillator and flaker

Our steel belts are widely applied to chemical pastillating and flaking systems, including single/double belt pastillators and flaker machinery.

Our carbon steel belts are also available with non-stick Teflon-coating, offering excellent corrosion resistance, low surface friction and superior product release. The belts are suitable for use in heat press machines and chemical environments up to 260°C. Their low-friction surface supports smoother transfer, easier cleaning and reduced product waste.

Steel belt dimensions

  • Length ≤150 m/pc
  • Width 600~3000 mm
  • Thickness 0.5/0.8/1.0/1.2 mm

Steel belt models

  • AT1200
  • AT1000
  • DT980
  • MT1050

CHEMICAL FLAKING MACHINES

Single steel belt flaker

The molten material enters the distribution device through the heat tracing pipe and continuously overflows onto the upper side of the running steel belt from the distributor. With the excellent heat transfer characteristics of the steel belt, the material forms a thin layer on the steel belt and cooled, turning into solid flake by water sprayed onto the back side of the belt. The cooled flake is scratched down from the steel belt by a scraper and then crushed by the crusher into set sizes.

DOUBLE steel belt flaker

The molten material enters the distribution device through the heat tracing pipe and continuously overflows into the gap between upper and lower steel belts from the distributor. With the excellent heat transfer characteristics of the steel belts, the material is cooled and turns into solid flake by water sprayed onto the back sides of the belts. The cooled flake is scratched down from the steel belt by a scraper and then crushed by the crusher into set sizes.

Chemical pastillating machine

Our steel belt cooling pastillators are melt granulation process equipment. Molten materials drop evenly onto the steel belt which is moving at a uniform speed. Due to cold water spraying onto the back side of the belt, the molten materials are cooled and solidified quickly to achieve pastillation.
